About us

CameraEyes School: Our Journey & Philosophy
The Origin
CameraEyes was officially established on July 26, 2006, by two visionary photographic artists, Ajarn Somchai Suriyasathaporn and Ajarn Jittima Sa-ngeamsunthron. During that era, online webboards were flourishing as primary digital communities. Recognizing a distinct gap in the local landscape, they launched the website under the domain www.cameraeyes.net with a definitive purpose: to cultivate Thailand’s very first dedicated space for Fine Art Photography. It served as an interactive sanctuary and an enriched knowledge hub where passionate individuals could gather, converse, and exchange profound perspectives on photography as a pure art form.
Evolution into a Specialized Academy
Driven by the growing enthusiasm of its community members, the platform naturally expanded from a theoretical forum into a practical learning space. The founders began introducing structured training sessions and diverse specialized photography courses. Over the years, this continuous development gave rise to CameraEyes School—a unique photography academy designed entirely around the "Home School" concept.
Our Educational Philosophy
At CameraEyes School, we firmly believe that impactful artistic learning thrives in intimate environments. To ensure maximum efficiency and personalized development, our curriculum prioritizes:
- One-on-One Long-Term Mentorship tailored specifically to individual artistic goals.
- Exclusive Small-Group Workshops strictly limited to a maximum of 10 participants per class.
Celebrating 20 Years of Artistic Excellence (2006 – 2026)
In 2026, CameraEyes School proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary. For two decades, we have remained profoundly dedicated to our core belief: "Photographic art stems from human imagination and contemplation. To truly capture it, a photographer must possess structured technical skills, comprehensive understanding, and a genuine grasp of art." We look forward to continuing our mission of nurturing the eyes and minds of the next generations of fine art photographers.
